Hell, I am hoping that there is a ban. I mean, I have about 200 AR magazines and I will be able to make some good money off of it.
These are the type of gun owners that I cannot respect, and they sicken me down to the core. The term "Fudd" has been coined in the gun world. It is for the gun owners that only hunt, and do not care about any other types of weapons besides those that they use for hunting. Many of them would gladly sell out the rest of gun owners, as long as what they have is still available. These people are missing the big picture. We are all in this together. In all the many times that I have read the Second Amendment, I have yet to see what it has to do with hunting, or sporting purposes. It goes without saying that I do not agree with people like these, but by God I would stand up to help preserve their rights no matter if I agree with them or not.
Now, moreso than ever before, gun owners must stand together and not allow for any further infringement upon our god given rights. There is nearly a gun for every single person in the United States. There are over 90 Million gun owners, and that number is growing every day. Ever since the 2008 elections, our numbers have been growing. There are more owners of AR and other Modern Sporting Rifles than any time in our history. People are truly beginning to see the light, and enjoy our constitutional rights as they see fit. But still, even within our own ranks, we have people such as this that would gladly see you stripped out of your rights, as long as they keep theirs or make money off it.
Personally, I do not care what god you want to worship, what gender you find physically attractive, or what you enjoy as a past time. Want to marry another man? Sure, go for it. Want to worship a can of SPAM that you have had since 1982 as a Godlike Deity? Sure knock yourself out. I view peoples rights much like I do another mans penis. I do not care what you do with it, just do not try to shove it down my throat. Why is it that in this day and age, if people do not like something, or disagree with it, they want it to be outlawed? Have we really grown this selfish as a society that we get personal pleasure in seeing peoples rights stripped away?
Want to preserve your rights to own firearms, for you and future generations? Call your congressional representatives, write an email, tell your friends. Hell, join the NRA, they may be imperfect, but they are the best thing we have right now. And above all, respect the rights and beliefs of others. Maybe by doing so, they will do the same for you.
