So I decided I wanted to use an EOTech with a magnifier on my AUG. I noticed that the charging handle was a bit difficult to operate with the EOTech but figured it would be fine.
After gettinf the EOTech zeroed and doing some shooting with it, the rifle went click. Yanked on the charging handle with my left hand, and nothing. I went to yank on it with my right hand, and it came back. And I promptly deposited some flesh on the thumbscrew of the EOTech.

Once I used the first aid kit in my range bag for the first time, I carefully locked the bolt back to see what happened. Apparently a loose primer pocket on some reloads caused the primer to pop out while the round was chambering. This caused the primer to deposit in the barrel extension and keep the bolt from going into battery.
As I always say, learning what not to do is part of the learning process. Now time to shitcan all of the PSD brass, which I have noticed has loose primer pockets.
